Mecanum Wheel

The mecanum wheel is a type of omnidirectional wheel designed specifically for robotics. It allows the robot to move in any direction, including diagonally, without having to turn. The mecanum wheel is made up of a series of small rollers mounted at a 45 degree angle to the circumference of the wheel. These rollers allow the mecanum wheel to slide laterally and diagonally, allowing the robot to be very mobile.
